What you will do
- Ensure quality of video game translations, checking language in texts and audio.
- Log spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, and translation errors into a database.
- Suggest appropriate corrections for excellent translation quality.
- Identify inconsistencies in story, context, or terminology.
- Ensure content is adapted to Norwegian language, culture, and market.
- Report tasks using evaluation sheets and checklists to the Lead Tester.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Norwegian culture and language.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand texts of varying complexity in English.
- Available at least three (3) days per week.
- Experience in translation or localization (asset).
