What you will do

• Provide leadership and mentorship to modeling and texturing artists.
• Guide the creation of high-quality 3D models and textures, ensuring visual brilliance.
• Set the artistic direction for projects, aligning with overall creative vision.
• Collaborate with animators, riggers, and cross-functional teams for effective asset integration.
• Oversee quality assurance for models and textures, implementing revisions as needed.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and the development of efficient processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Maya, Arnold, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Zbrush is required.
• Expert understanding of topology and UV creation.
• Optimized workflows within standard software.
• Ability to adapt to different styles and treatments to match client expectations.
• CG modeling/texturing experience in Animation, Gaming, or Digital Visual Effects Studios.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bifrost, Houdini, Blender, Substance Designer, Mari.
• Scripting ability in languages including Python.
• Aptitude or specialization in characters or set modeling and texturing.
• Experience assisting with R&D development for new assets.
