What you will do

• Build and scale LLM-powered educational assistants (ORB Chat) for personalized learning experiences.
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines for K-12 curricular data, AI literacy, and workforce skills content.
• Develop and fine-tune generative AI models for problem creation, explanations, and adaptive feedback.
• Ensure reliability and safety of AI outputs through structured output validation and bias-mitigation.
• Partner with game designers and Unity engineers to integrate AI-driven NPCs into 3D gaming experiences.
• Collaborate with education researchers to align models with curricula and support equitable outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with large language models (LLMs), including prompting, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuning.
• Strong skills in Python and experience with LLMOps platforms (e.g., Weights & Biases).
• Experience building AI-driven tutoring, chatbots, or content-generation systems.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Creative, mission-driven mindset with a passion for transforming how students learn through play and AI.
