Director, Product Strategy (AI)

TL;DR

Director, Product Strategy (AI): Developing long-term strategies for the monetization business, particularly focusing on publisher products and features. Focus on market research, communicating insights to senior business leaders, and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Expected to work from the office at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S.

Salary: USD $155,800 – $277,200 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with PM leadership in building the future of the monetization business.
• Represent a portfolio of products/features and explain how it fits into larger Monetization/MAI/Microsoft priorities.
• Contribute to large strategy projects and manage small projects.
• Communicate insights to senior business leaders.
• Conduct market-based research and analyses to frame strategic questions.
• Synthesize findings into insights across projects and develop recommendations around growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 6+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree and 12+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of experience OR equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of engagement tracking and analytics tools.
• Experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Investment Banking related to Digital Advertising and/or AI monetization.
• Highly skilled at writing with an ability to distill complex technical concepts into understandable and compelling positions.
