TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (React/Node.js): Developing and optimizing components for an energy retail platform's billing team with an accent on accurate, compliant, and timely bill generation. Focus on building and maintaining robust frontend applications with React and high-proficiency Node.js/TypeScript backend services within an event-driven architecture.

Location: 100% Remote within the European Union

What you will do

Join the Billing team to reduce retailers' debt risk by enabling accurate, compliant, and timely bill delivery for an Energy Retail platform.
Participate in various team activities, including development, design, support, and testing.
Build expertise in the energy domain with guidance from an experienced engineering team.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience building and maintaining frontend applications with React.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
Experience or exposure to event-driven systems or message queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
Solid experience with CI pipelines, SQL, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
Experience in software delivery within agile teams and strong knowledge of test approaches.

Nice to have

Experience with Datadog.
Experience working with Temporal.io.
