What you will do

• Build, optimize, and maintain web-based game interfaces and supporting backend services.
• Actively manage multi-cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and WebSockets for seamless integration across web, client, and cloud.
• Contribute hands-on to AI/ML features to expand platform capabilities.
• Analyze user flows to improve user experience and player retention.
• Optimize the web stack for speed and reliability crucial for a streaming platform.

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript with extensive hands-on experience in React (Frontend) and Node.js (Backend).
• Deep familiarity with serverless/microservices (Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases, specifically Redis and MongoDB.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI).
• Technical lead experience, including code reviews and architectural planning for a small team.

Nice to have

• Background in the gaming industry or game-adjacent technology.
• Experience with WebRTC or similar streaming technologies.
• Exposure to recommendation engines or ML services (e.g., AWS Personalize).
• Prior collaboration with native client developers using C++ or C#.
