TL;DR

Middle or Senior C++ Rendering Engineer (DX12): Developing and optimizing advanced real-time graphics systems with an accent on DirectX 12, modern rendering architectures, and latest-generation consoles. Focus on pushing visual quality, performance, and technical robustness of rendering pipelines in high-profile AAA/AA titles.

Location: Remote. Must be based in Canada, Europe, or Ukraine.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain rendering systems using DirectX 12.
  • Optimize GPU and CPU performance for PC and console platforms.
  • Work on visual features such as lighting, post-processing, and shading systems.
  • Adapt and improve rendering pipelines for different hardware platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with technical artists to improve visual workflows.
  • Debug rendering issues and ensure visual stability and performance.

Requirements

  • Solid professional experience with C++ in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with DirectX 12.
  • Strong understanding of modern rendering concepts: lighting, shadows, post-processing, materials, scene management.
  • Experience working with GPU/CPU performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with graphics debugging and profiling tools (PIX, RenderDoc, Nsight, etc.).
  • Ability to work with large codebases and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
  • Good spoken and written English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with console graphics development (PS5 / Xbox Series).
  • Knowledge of other graphics APIs (Vulkan, Metal).
  • Experience with engine-level systems (render graph, resource management, streaming).
  • Work with temporal techniques (TAA, upscalers, dynamic resolution, etc.).
