What you will do
- Direct and review 2D, 3D, and animation work across internal teams and external partners.
- Create and improve efficient art and design pipelines and tooling.
- Provide feedback to artists and art leads to maintain quality and consistency across projects.
- Collaborate with art leads, management, and business teams to standardize art quality and support business growth.
- Find and recruit talent for teams and products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, including art direction and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with 3ds Max, Maya, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Houdini, Unreal, and Unity.
- Expert knowledge of illustration, concept and design, 3D, animation, and creative development processes.
- Strong understanding of game art, leadership, communication, teamwork, and decision-making.
- Relevant studies, experience, portfolio, and video game industry network will be reviewed.
Nice to have
- Fluency in spoken English and Mandarin.
- Persistent self-education.
