TL;DR
Next-Generation Environment Artist (3D Game Art): Creating realistic next-generation environments and props for game projects with an accent on modeling, concept interpretation, and detailed refinement. Focus on building AAA-quality assets, contributing to secondary design, and producing realistic environments for firearm-themed games.

Location: Shanghai or Nanchang, China

hirify.global is a China-based art outsourcing studio established in 2006, with more than 300 artists supporting game and film projects.

What you will do

  • Create realistic next-generation environments and props based on project requirements.
  • Interpret concept designers’ intent and contribute to secondary design, improvement, and refinement.
  • Communicate project requirements clearly and adapt to specific instructions.
  • Collaborate with artists and project teams while maintaining organized, high-quality production.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in 3D next-generation realistic production for the game industry.
  • Strong artistic foundation, creativity, imagination, and 3D modeling skills.
  • Experience with 3ds Max or Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, and Substance Painter.
  • Strong communication, comprehension, teamwork, professional ethics, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work from Shanghai or Nanchang, China.

Nice to have

  • AAA game project experience.
  • Experience with Call of Duty or similar realistic firearm-themed games.
  • Familiarity with Substance Designer, Unreal Engine 4, or Unity 3D.
