Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, CA, United States (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday).

Salary: $196,750–$243,290 USD

What you will do

• Develop new user-facing experiences on hirify.global for player avatar customization.
• Add new features to the hirify.global app using Luau/React.
• Build upon game APIs used by third-party developers with C++.
• Actively participate in the direction and development of the team’s roadmap and strategy.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and cross-functional partners (product, design, art).

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional partners, including Producers and 3D Artists.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to work on a hybrid schedule from the San Mateo, CA office.

Nice to have

• Track record of quality game(s) on the hirify.global platform.
• hirify.global / Luau development experience.
• Experience in other game engines such as Godot, Unity, or Unreal.
• C++ experience.
