What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of comprehensive Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for financial data domains.
• Architect and present scalable, high-quality end-to-end MDM architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend MDM platforms like Informatica, Reltio, or Talend based on business requirements.
• Develop data integration pipelines and automate workflows using Python, Airflow, or Astronomer.
• Build and optimize data processing solutions with Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory.
• Design GraphQL-based microservices and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of MDM implementations, preferably in financial services.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and deploying MDM solutions and comparing platform options.
• Strong functional knowledge of reference data sources and domain-specific data standards.
• Expertise in Python, Pyspark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and SQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture (particularly GraphQL) and orchestration tools like Airflow or Astronomer.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and financial systems (capital markets, credit risk, regulatory compliance).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial data models and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.
