What you will do

• Assist QA leadership in hiring, managing, mentoring, and growing the internal QA team.
• Serve as a point of contact between QA and Production, ensuring department needs are met and resources are allocated.
• Refine existing QA processes, build new ones for project goals, and ensure teamwide educational enforcement.
• Develop and maintain QA KPIs to measure project health and success trends.
• Maintain a clear vision of overall project status, adapt to changes, and proactively surface risks.
• Develop and expand bug reporting standards and provide digestible heartbeat communications.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a QA leadership position on a shipped AAA multi-platform title, with 5+ years total in game development.
• Experience working with an external QA team on a shipped title.
• Proactive problem solver with a proven track record for getting ahead of issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent people skills including the ability to motivate and inspire.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in risk analysis and mitigation.
• Exceptional Jira/Confluence skills.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
