Senior DevOps Engineer (iGaming)

TL;DR

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Malta, specifically Silema, Fawwara Lane.

What you will do

• Design, create, configure, and deliver cloud infrastructure and environments with automation and security.
• Implement a CI/CD strategy across the entire product development lifecycle.
• Create accurate documentation for various technical and non-technical teams.
• Develop and maintain tools to enhance observability of cloud-based environments, ensuring platform stability.
• Promote the use of cloud-native tools and methodologies.
• Proactively contribute as part of a high-performance enablement team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of DevOps experience across a range of industries.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems administration.
• Extensive experience working in AWS.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools (ideally Ansible) and IaC tools (especially Terraform on AWS).
• Good understanding of version control tools such as GitHub and BitBucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
• Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CircleCI and Kubernetes-related tools such as ArgoCD and Flux.
• Knowledge of monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog, Grafana, Kibana, Zabbix).
• Experience in Kafka, MSK, Kafka Connect, and similar technologies.
• Working experience in infrastructure, particularly around networking and cloud-based DNS services (e.g., Cloudflare).
