What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning operations, product management, and engineering to build new technologies and features for fraud prevention.
• Build, prototype, implement, and productionize new anti-fraud solutions at scale.
• Ensure successful deliveries and promote the long-term technical health of systems and journeys.
• Take ownership of critical features, be accountable, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment.
• Mentor other engineers and interact with product and stakeholders to impact the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in developing RESTful web services.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
• Experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as KAFKA, AWS SQS, or AWS SNS.
• Experience with microservices and high-volume distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang.
• Experience with Cloud-based architectures (AWS).
