What you will do

• Define team strategy and contribute to hirify.global’s technical strategy.
• Guide and coach an engineering team to build scalable and reliable features and services.
• Foster an environment of agility and autonomy for team member career growth.
• Implement Engineering Practices (TDD, CI/CD, Agile) to enhance delivery speed and product quality.
• Lead projects with a product manager, managing stakeholders, roadmaps, and costs.
• Advance architecture and scale processes such as engineering hiring and onboarding.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in team leadership.
• B2C domain expertise.
• Hands-on leadership to drive change, inspire vision, and execute with purpose.
• Skilled in team development and building structures that prioritize speed, quality, and engagement.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and a proven track record of hiring top international talent.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, Ruby on Rails, Swift, or Kotlin, with a strong foundation in cloud-based, distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge in Domain-Driven Design, microservices, and designing for scale.
• Skilled in databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL, with an understanding of their trade-offs.
• Ability to translate business KPIs into actionable goals and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Known for selecting the best frameworks and design principles to tackle complex technical and organizational challenges.
