What you will do

• Hire, onboard, train, and coach a high-performing mobile engineering team, supporting their career development.
• Ensure continuous delivery of code with a strong connection to stakeholders through demos and reviews.
• Evaluate and adopt industry trends for the technical architecture of the mobile application.
• Collaborate with the team, Product Managers, and Product Designers to manage development initiatives.
• Lead by example and contribute with hands-on coding in Java, Golang, or Kotlin.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of mobile developers through successful software projects.
• Experience providing technical leadership for complex problems and understanding Agile software development.
• Experience in creating processes for bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Ability to adapt to company growth and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Must be based in Auckland, New Zealand, or willing to relocate.
