Location: Based in Auckland, New Zealand, with a requirement to relocate if not already located there

What you will do
- Hire, onboard, train, and coach a high-performing mobile engineering team, supporting their career development.
- Ensure continuous delivery of code with a strong connection to stakeholders through demos and reviews.
- Evaluate and adopt industry trends for the technical architecture of the mobile application.
- Collaborate with the team, Product Managers, and Product Designers to manage development initiatives.
- Lead by example and contribute with hands-on coding in Java, Golang, or Kotlin.
Requirements
- Experience leading a team of mobile developers through successful software projects.
- Experience providing technical leadership for complex problems and understanding Agile software development.
- Experience in creating processes for bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Ability to adapt to company growth and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Must be based in Auckland, New Zealand, or willing to relocate.
