Frontend Engineer (React/Tailwind)

Location: On-site in Hobart, Australia. This role does not operate remote or hybrid models and requires full-time on-site presence.

What you will do

• Build highly visible user-facing platforms with global exposure and reach.
• Focus on frontend excellence, ensuring smooth interactions and responsive designs across devices and browsers.
• Develop robust and high-quality server-side software to empower internal teams.
• Dive deep in React JS and Tailwind frameworks to deliver robust, high-quality software.
• Collaborate closely with designers to translate concepts into functional, visually stunning interfaces.
• Optimise UI performance, ensure accessibility standards, and deliver seamless, secure experiences.

Requirements

• 3 years of expertise in React JS and Tailwind required.
• Proficient in Typescript, HTML, CSS, and other contemporary web technologies.
• Comfortable using version control tools (Git) to manage projects and collaborate.
• Some experience in working with REST APIs.
• Commercial experience using continuous integration and deployment.
• Demonstrable ability to engage, share knowledge, and collaborate with a high level of independence and self-motivation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the Vue JS framework.
