Salary: $156,400–$220,000

• Ensure team-wide code quality through code reviews and provide feedback on technical proposals.
• Exhibit accountability and extreme ownership from design through production support.
• Research and recommend new technologies to solve strategic issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Expertise in Scala and functional programming paradigms, with experience designing and implementing enterprise RESTful web APIs.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including source control, CI/CD, and various testing approaches.
• Deep distributed systems knowledge, having supported multiple high-throughput production systems.
• Extensive experience with AWS (compute, databases, storage, containers, serverless) and asynchronous JVM-based programming models in production.
• Excellent communication skills, a pragmatic approach to engineering tradeoffs, and legal right to work in the U.S.
