Location: Expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary: $175,000 - $263,000 USD

What you will do

• Architect and optimize Artifactory ecosystems to ensure 24/7 availability and peak performance for global engineering teams.
• Scale hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments using automation frameworks like Puppet and Ansible.
• Implement SRE and DevOps best practices to automate manual toil, improve observability, and harden system security.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve complex escalations, maintaining technical runbooks to resolve issues with speed and precision.

Requirements

• Deep experience managing enterprise Artifactory clusters in high-traffic production environments.
• Mastery of configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible) and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience scaling services within cloud providers (AWS/Azure) and managing containerized workloads via Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queue / event streaming systems such as Apache Kafka.
