TL;DR

Principal Software Engineer (Gamedev): Building backend systems to support creators of games and other experiences within the hirify.global ecosystem with an accent on communication platform, remote configuration/experiment platform, ML-driven services, and large-scale data pipelines. Focus on optimizing monetization opportunities for creators and managing player community.

Location: Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Salary: $295,250—$345,040 USD

• Lead technical decision-making and guide the development team.
• Lead engineering and development for services and systems at a massive scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-team leaders.

Requirements

• An outstanding software engineer with 8+ years of industry experience.
• Deep familiarity with concepts like stream processing, data pipeline, queue, RPC, retry strategies, etc.
• 3+ years of experience in C#, Java, Go, or any other object-oriented programming language.
• Ability to jump with ease between Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, iOS, and other platforms.
• Ability to build systems with proper monitoring, logging, operations, and automated testing in mind.
