Location: Onsite in London, UK

Salary: $200,000 – $370,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and build scaled foundational systems for harm detection, tracking, and enforcement.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical experts on observed harms to inform designs and implementation.
• Leverage hirify.global’s advanced technologies to automate harm detection with minimum human intervention.
• Collaborate with policy, trust and safety operations, legal, and investigations teams to combat abusive actors.
• Stay abreast of the latest techniques and tools to stay ahead of adversaries.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience in backend and data systems.
• At least 2 years experience in trust and safety analysis, investigation, and/or operations.
• Excited to learn from top experts on AI harms and collaborate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to dive into the codebase and intuit strong engineering improvements.
• Strong intrinsic desire to learn and share information clearly and concisely.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing conditions, viewing changes as an opportunity for structure.

• Experience in Machine Learning techniques.
