Vulnerability Management Specialist

TL;DR

Vulnerability Management Specialist: Responsible for scheduling, detecting, analyzing, reporting, and managing the Emergency Patching Process activities within the company’s technology domains with an accent on driving structural improvements and protecting the IT infrastructure and information assets. Focus on investigating, isolating and tracking critical security vulnerabilities in a risk-based manner, especially in Cloud & Container environments.

Location: Must be based and allowed to work in The Netherlands (Veldhoven)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain patch & vulnerability management policies and standards.
• Drive and support the Priority Patching process and coordinate responses to critical vulnerabilities.
• Manage, monitor, and report on emergency patching processes and compliance.
• Align with stakeholders on next steps and monitor progress of agreed risk mitigation.
• Take a leading position within the Vulnerability Management team, providing strategic direction and guidance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, specifically in Cloud & Container environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a security analyst in a large organization (preferably 4+ years).
• Knowledge of malware, hacking techniques, cyber threats, and security trends.
• Experience in Executing Threat and Vulnerability Analysis (TVA) and/or IT Security risk assessments.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication and presentation skills (C1 equivalent).

Nice to have

• Valid industry certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Experience and/or knowledge of working with Agile SAFe.
• Experience in vulnerability management in Application, server, network infrastructure, API’s, and workplace environment.
• Command of the Dutch language.
