What you will do

• Lead the development of Alternative Data products from concept through implementation.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and build statistical models.
• Conduct quantitative backtests and develop whitepapers showcasing product value.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams and interact with clients on technical questions.
• Evaluate and onboard new datasets, performing time series analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist in capital markets or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning packages (sklearn, etc.).
• Experience with big data and cloud technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Redshift, and AWS.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
• Experience with NLP, machine learning, and AI applications in financial markets.
• CFA, FRM, or similar professional designation.
