TL;DR

Senior Systems Operations Analyst: Performing monitoring and operational management functions for hardware and software in a 24/6 environment with an accent on system start-up, shut down, change management, and incident resolution. Focus on automating production infrastructure operations, troubleshooting issues across the technology stack, and ensuring overall system health and performance.

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius, Lithuania. Required to come into the office at least 3 days per week. Must be eligible to work in the EU.

Salary: 3300 – 3600 EUR gross per month

What you will do

• Perform 24/7 monitoring and operational management for hardware and software systems.
• Contribute to system and network design and implementation, with a focus on automation.
• Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues across the technology stack.
• Proactively investigate and resolve error conditions, following escalation procedures.
• Create and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar systems operations role.
• Strong understanding of Linux OS and command-line interface.
• Experience with configuration management (CHEF, Puppet, Ansible, GIT) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting real-time applications.

Nice to have

• Certifications relevant to the role.
• Knowledge of network topologies, security concepts, and data communications (TCP/IP, switches, routers, LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, Multicast).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation (Terraform).
