What you will do

• Lead research and development of state-of-the-art Machine Learning and statistical methods.
• Apply deep learning, reinforcement learning, and AI to solve business problems and derive insights.
• Collaborate with hirify.global leadership and clients to define AI solutions.
• Mentor other data scientists and contribute to their growth.
• Work with engineers and designers to build end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Influence and shape the R&D roadmap, especially for deep learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering, or artificial intelligence.
• 5+ years of deep technical experience in distributed computing, machine learning, and statistics.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, SQL.
• Proven application of advanced analytical, data science and statistical methods in the commercial world.
• Demonstrated leadership (thought leadership or people leadership).
• Good presentation and communication skills for explaining complex analytical concepts.
• Knowledge in prompt engineering & GenAI application building (RAG, Agentic systems).
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of distributed computing or NoSQL technologies.
• Knowledge in Engineering standards, QA/Risk Management.
