Solution Engineer (PolicyNPCCore) (Telco)

TL;DR

Solution Engineer (Telco Policy): Delivering end-to-end Telco solutions from design and architecture to integration, validation, and migration, with an accent on technical excellence and successful project delivery in complex environments. Focus on analyzing requirements, designing high-level and low-level architectures, developing and validating policy rules, and managing Go Live activities.

Location: Onsite in Lviv, Odesa, Kyiv, Rivne, HITECHPARKODESA (Ukraine)

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and define product-level implementation.
• Design High-Level and Low-Level architectures, including IP and network design.
• Create and execute test strategies, including SVS and test lists.
• Prepare onboarding files and perform software installation & configuration.
• Execute integration, validation, and customer acceptance activities.
• Manage Go Live activities and migration of traffic, data, and subscribers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Telco software solution development and/or integration.
• Strong background in High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux OS and databases (Aerospike, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL).
• Expertise in TCP/IP and protocols: Diameter (Gx, Rx, Sy), HTTP2, SIP, Sigtran, SOAP-XML, REST, SNMP.
• Solid understanding of network architectures and international standards (3GPP, ETSI).
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies (VNF, CNF) and platforms (CBIS/CBAM, NCS/NCOM, VMware, OpenStack, OpenShift).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Policy solutions (5780DSC, SPS-P, NPC).
• Experience in application integration projects, especially in multi-DB or complex environments.
• Knowledge of payment systems, mobile network integration, VoLTE & IMS.
• Previous experience with OSS/BSS frameworks.
• Solution Architect certification or equivalent experience.
