Salary: $115,000–$150,000 USD + equity + bonuses

What you will do

• Lead product quality strategy across the entire product, balancing internal capabilities and external QA vendors.
• Manage all contract QA partnerships, ensuring their effectiveness and integration into the quality process.
• Establish test planning standards and coach the team on quality best practices.
• Champion AI-driven testing, collaborating with developers and the AI research group.
• Empower developers to own quality for their features by providing guidance and monitoring success.

Requirements

• Serious test planning experience, including comprehensive test plan writing and teaching others.
• Experience managing external QA partners, optimizing both internal and outsourced testing.
• Proficiency with AI tools like LLMs for task automation and productivity enhancement.
• Hands-on test execution experience, including finding repro steps and catching bugs.
• Strategic thinking about quality, balancing iteration speed, ROI, and safe shipping.

Nice to have

• Software engineering skills (coding, debugging).
• Background as a release manager or strong opinions on shipping cadence.
• Experience working with LLMs in a pipeline.
