Salary: $80,000 – $110,000

What you will do

• Ensure timely and high-quality software releases using proactive monitoring of metrics and alerting.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in broadband and entertainment devices, including connectivity, network protocols, media player, and A/V streaming.
• Develop anomaly detection techniques and data-driven solutions to identify and address system issues.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of RDK middleware issues, including source code review, to identify root causes.
• Design and enhance operational tools, analyze data from field devices for insights, and utilize AWS technologies (S3, Athena, Quick Sight).
• Architect and implement DevOps solutions for operational improvement, and lead/mentor a small team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of C/C++ and Linux experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead and mentoring a small team of engineers.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira and SCM tools like Git and GitHub.
• Experience with log management and analysis tools such as Elastic Stack (ELK), Splunk, and Grafana.
• Experience in one or more scripting languages: BASH, Go, or Python.
• Demonstrated focus on Connectivity and Network Engineering.
