What you will do

• Design solutions to enhance customer experience by understanding application and service architectures.
• Communicate with users, technical leaders, and management to collect requirements and contribute to architectural designs.
• Develop frontend experiences using React and hirify.global specific languages.
• Work cross-functionally with product management, QA/QE, and various business units to drive results.
• Propose and evaluate changes to deployment architecture to improve performance, scalability, and manageability.
• Act in a technical leadership capacity, mentoring junior engineers and guiding a large scrum team.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience developing high-volume web applications using Java.
• 2+ years experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Client-side experience including JavaScript, React/Redux, HTML, CSS, and Sass.
• Server-side experience with Java, databases, and hosting in an AWS environment.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and design/architecture process.
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Must be able to work onsite in Toronto, Canada or San Diego, California.
