What you will do

• Shape and improve critical aspects of the product within a collaborative, remote-first environment.
• Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Design, build, and maintain features in the Rails codebase, focusing on high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions.
• Drive the development of APIs, authentication systems, and customer-facing UI.
• Implement enhancements using modern Rails features like Hotwire, Stimulus, and Turbo.
• Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, mentor junior developers, and lead technical design discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building SaaS products with Ruby on Rails and comfortable across the full web stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of SQL (Postgres or MySQL) with a passion for writing performant queries.
• Experience building and scaling applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Strong writer capable of communicating technical details clearly.
