What you will do
- Lead timely delivery of key initiatives and contribute to roadmap execution with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and other functions/teams.
- Evolve the technical architecture for systems owned by your team.
- Partner with other technical leaders to evolve the overall technical ecosystem.
- Ensure engineering excellence in areas like code quality, observability, and production operations.
- Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of software delivery processes and practices.
- Mentor team members and participate in finding top talent for the organization.
Requirements
- Expertise in engineering and computer science fundamentals.
- Experience developing scalable, reliable applications on cloud platforms (GCP & AWS).
- Proficiency in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience leading multi-quarter, cross-team initiatives from design to production deployment.
- Strong sense of ownership and a passion for continuous learning.
- Must be able to work within Canada (compensation information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within Ontario).
- English: B2 required.
