What you will do
- Architect and implement a scalable Research Ops framework, including recruitment, tool selection, and insights repository.
- Lead the research strategy for the Merchant Experience Platform, validating designs and conducting post-launch research.
- Partner with product leaders on 0-to-1 initiatives, conducting early-stage discovery to understand merchant pain points.
- Scale the Design Partnership Program by establishing a direct line to strategic retail partners and creating a customer advisory framework.
- Act as a strategic partner to Senior Leadership, using data-backed insights to shape the product roadmap.
- Evangelize the value of research across hirify.global, leading workshops and mentoring designers and PMs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of UX Research experience with a proven track record of building or maturing research functions.
- Experience in B2B2C SaaS environments and comfortable with building research from scratch.
- Portfolio demonstrating success in launching new product categories and optimizing high-traffic experiences.
- Expertise in mixed methods, including ethnographic field studies, longitudinal diary studies, usability testing, and survey design.
- Comfortable analyzing data to triangulate qualitative findings without relying on data engineering.
- Ability to translate complex research findings into compelling narratives for C-suite stakeholders, Engineering leads, and Product Managers.
- Understanding of the unique challenges of B2B research, including navigating gatekeepers and recruiting busy professionals.
- Must be based in Canada.
