Senior Fullstack Engineer (React, Python, AWS)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (React, Python, AWS): Designing, developing, testing, securing, and deploying new SaaS product services using AWS serverless architecture and Python, with an accent on full E2E ownership from requirements to production and integrating with UX experts. Focus on building complex and advanced services that meet the highest security standards and NFRs in an agile environment.

What you will do

• Perform full-stack development using React, Python, AWS, Serverless, and CDK.
• Take full end-to-end ownership from requirements to production.
• Gain deep knowledge of products and how customers are using them.
• Work closely with hirify.global’s UX experts to provide the best customer experience.
• Collaborate with security architects, product managers, and other development teams to produce complex services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field / technology Elite unit alumni with relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Python, Go, Node, Ruby, Java, C#, or C++ (Python is a definite advantage).
• 3+ years of experience developing React applications with an in-depth understanding of React principles.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems on AWS.
• Proactive, highly motivated individual with a high work ethic and goal-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with UX design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory).
• Knowledge of security principles and techniques (secure web coding practices, threat modeling, OWASP).
• Solid understanding of security and networking implementation and best practices.
• Experience with microservice/event-oriented design and development.
