Location: Hybrid role, must be able to work from Austin, TX, Sunnyvale, CA, Redmond, WA or New York City, NY offices 2-3 times a week.

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year

• Ensure all clusters and required software are kept up to date.

• Grow the global engineering team through hiring and technical contributions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience using Kubernetes as a primary underlying platform.
• Experience with Cilium, Cluster Autoscaler, KEDA, Flux, and Gateway API.
• Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting strategies.
• Experience managing remote teams across US and Europe time zones.
• Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels.

Nice to have

• Management or first-hand experience with distributed or concurrent systems.
• Experience with Golang, including knowledge of CRDs.
• Experience with AWS IAM, EC2, AutoScale Groups, and Spot Instances.
• Experience with Chef, Terraform, and Ansible.
