What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and related frameworks.
- Implement data processing pipelines with Apache Beam and deploy/monitor jobs on Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Ensure secure and efficient integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub.
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough unit testing using JUnit.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Java Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Core Java, Collections, and Concurrency; experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Apache Beam & Dataflow: Hands-on experience implementing Beam transforms (DoFn, ParDo, GroupByKey) and managing Dataflow jobs.
- GCP Fundamentals: Familiarity with Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles, and security best practices.
- Testing & Quality: Ability to write unit tests (JUnit) and conduct code reviews effectively.
- English: C1
