Salary: $170,000-$215,000 USD

What you will do

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, and quality assurance teams regarding technology roadmap progress.
• Convert business requirements into actionable engineering plans and work items.
• Produce quality code, write tests, build prototypes, and resolve issues.
• Optimize front-end services for performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Integrate front-end service deliverables from other engineering teams into a single user-experience.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to other front-end developers, and mentor engineering talent.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Deep understanding of modern web practices and technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular).
• Experience with at least one of the major public cloud providers: AWS, Google, or Azure.
• Experience with API development frameworks (e.g., Swagger).
• Technical knowledge and understanding of techniques and standards for authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• 5-10 years of experience developing web applications and shipping UI software in production environments.
• Experience leading development for a UI team.

Nice to have

• Experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed services with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline engines (GithubActions, Jenkins, TravisCI).
• Familiarity with one or more common backend languages (Go, Python, Java).
• Experience with NoSQL database development.
