What you will do

• Guide and support a team of developers through coaching, career development, and regular feedback conversations.
• Partner with product teams to identify reliability challenges and create targeted solutions that improve the client experience.
• Build strong relationships with team members across engineering to understand their needs and advocate for tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape project proposals and bring them to relevant planning discussions.
• Promote best practices for production engineering and help establish patterns that scale across the organization.

Requirements

• Experience in development and managing software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background with the ability to engage meaningfully in discussions about system reliability, performance, and architecture.
• Experience partnering with multiple teams to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for sharing updates, building alignment, and creating documentation.
• A collaborative approach that builds trust and empathy between different parts of the organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform or infrastructure engineering teams.
• Background in reliability engineering, SRE, or production operations.
• Familiarity with observability tools and incident management processes.
