Software Development Engineer

What you will do

• Develop secure, enterprise-level web and server-side applications using React and C#.
• Effectively use source control, write unit tests, and liaise with software testers.
• Follow .NET secure coding best practices and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Assist in the creation and progression of technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies using JIRA and Confluence.
• Share knowledge of modern development techniques, coach, and mentor other team members.

Requirements

• Advanced coding ability in C# and React.
• Experience designing and architecting secure, scalable applications and modernizing complex legacy applications.
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals, Object-Oriented Design, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• UK citizenship or at least more than a 5-year UK resident permit

Nice to have

• Knowledge of legacy technologies like ASP.NET Webforms, Visual Basic, .Net Framework 4.5 - 4.8.
• Knowledge of test automation and Microservice architectures.
