Salary: $100,000 - $145,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform Linux engineering and administration for bare metal and virtual machines.
• Support large-scale cloud environments for clustered object storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot server hardware, network, and storage issues while monitoring production.
• Implement automation for routine tasks using IaaS tools like Chef or Ansible.
• Configure Linux kernel parameters and file systems to support object storage performance.
• Participate in on-call rotation with other team members.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience working on distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of Linux internals, including virtual memory management and process scheduling.
• Familiarity with storage technologies (block and object), including Kubernetes-native or AWS S3-compatible solutions.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and routing protocols.
• Experience using Python/Go and configuration management tools like Chef.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams.
