TL;DR

Incident Manager (Fintech): Responding to and coordinating various incidents (Physical, Cyber, Technical, Operational) impacting a digital bank, ensuring adherence to the Incident Management and Escalation Framework. Focus on driving resolution from identification through to completion, maintaining auditable records, and ensuring regulatory compliance for high-severity incidents.

Location: Hybrid working: minimum of 10 days per month in the office, with flexibility to work the rest from home. Must be based in the UK (FCA regulated environment).

What you will do

  • Respond to and coordinate incidents across Physical, Cyber, Technical, and Operational domains.
  • Support the Incident Command (IC) structure to drive resolution and maintain auditable records.
  • Develop and deliver accurate Management Information for executive governance and regulatory oversight.
  • Assist in assurance activities and thematic reviews of the Incident Management Framework.
  • Act as a partner to Risk and Control owners, supporting and challenging key decisions.
  • Provide targeted training and coaching on the framework, incident response, and action tracking.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with regulatory rigor for incident identification and escalation (e.g., FCA).
  • Proven experience in Incident Management for large institutions, with knowledge of Crisis Management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills for high-stress situations, adaptable to all business levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Google Sheets) for MI and incident analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Incident Management platforms (e.g., incident.io, Opsgenie) and integration with communication/monitoring tools.
  • Foundational understanding of cloud-based banking technologies (microservices, public cloud) and payments landscape.
