Senior Platform Engineer (Gaming Infrastructure): Taking ownership of the stability, automation, and performance of internal platform infrastructure for real-time workloads on a global scale with an accent on CI/CD pipelines, container tooling, and infrastructure-as-code. Focus on designing scalable features, automating infrastructure, and improving reliability in bare-metal and hybrid environments.

Location: Hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, requiring approximately 50% onsite work. Full remote options are not possible.

What you will do

• Co-architect and design scalable, reliable platform features for middleware components like Kubernetes.
• Automate and optimize infrastructure setup and management for systems like databases and web servers.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance for the platform.
• Advocate for DevOps and GitOps practices and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience working with infrastructure for highly available, distributed gaming server platforms, supporting high traffic and low latency workloads.
• Deep hands-on experience managing Linux systems, including container-optimized distributions and bare-metal environments.
• Proven use of Ansible and Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure at scale.
• Solid experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines for containerized deployments and GitOps tooling like Argo CD.
• Direct experience working with Prometheus and Grafana in production environments.
• Experience working in SRE or platform teams, mentoring engineers, and contributing to internal tooling and documentation.
