What you will do
- Take ownership of level design from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring an engaging player experience.
- Design, build, and iterate high-quality level layouts tailored for FPS / action gameplay, with a strong focus on flow, pacing, and combat scenarios.
- Craft layouts that support intense combat encounters, smart AI pathing, and player agency in fast-paced environments.
- Implement player guidance systems for intuitive navigation during chaotic action sequences.
- Use terrain, structures, and verticality to create strategic opportunities and diverse tactical options.
- Integrate occlusion, cover systems, line of sight control, and funneling techniques to enhance gameplay rhythm and technical performance.
- Place and tune gameplay elements such as AI, triggers, objectives, pickups, and interactive set-pieces.
- Iterate based on frequent playtesting and telemetry to refine pacing, difficulty, and player flow.
- Collaborate closely with art, tech, and narrative teams to ensure a cohesive experience across all level elements.
Requirements
