Systems Engineer (Data Protection)

TL;DR

Systems Engineer (Data Protection): Works closely with the sales team to remove technical barriers and present hirify.global messaging with an accent on architectural strategies for data resilience. Focus on delivering demonstrations, implementing POCs, and providing presales support for virtualization and data protection technologies.

Location: Hybrid, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ability to travel within the region as required.

What you will do

• Perform live customer meeting presentations and demonstrations.
• Implement and manage POCs to technical closure.
• Lead generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups.
• Understand and negotiate technical requirements with customers and partners.
• Work closely with the sales department to secure new partners and customers.
• Provide pre-sales support as customers evaluate hirify.global software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of solution sales experience.
• Data Protection experience.
• Demonstrated experience with virtualisation technologies.
• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; must be able to present to groups.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel within the region as required.

Nice to have

• Experience working with monitoring tools such as System Center.
• Experience in data life cycle management with IT audit requirements.
