What you will do
- Lead a small team in the analysis and improvement of kernel security for PlayStation devices.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of security measures.
- Apply your skills in software development using C and C++ to contribute to the security framework.
- Understand and implement code hardening techniques to protect our systems.
- Work closely with validation teams to review code patches and integrate external patches.
- Conduct daily scrum meetings and provide mentorship for junior team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in C/C++ software engineering with a focus on security.
- Solid grasp of code hardening procedures and objectives.
- Experience working alongside validation teams and understanding the impact of code patches.
- Ability to identify fresh improvement opportunities and construct proof of concepts.
- Strong communication and social skills.
