What you will do

• Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor and Animation Team to create dynamic character effects for film and television projects.
• Design and create a wide variety of realistic visual effects and simulations, including character cloth, hair, fur, muscle, and skin.
• Ensure the seamless integration of character effects into the overall visual effects pipeline.
• Utilize industry-standard software and tools like Maya, Houdini, and proprietary software.
• Revise simulations based on client and supervisor feedback in a timely manner.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a CFX Artist in the visual effects industry, with a focus on film and television projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of character effects and their integration into visual storytelling.
• Proficient in industry-standard software such as Maya, Houdini, and ZBrush.
• Extensive knowledge of simulation techniques for cloth, hair, fur, muscle, skin, and other character-related effects.
• Solid understanding of physics, anatomy, and motion principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, meet project deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
