What you will do

• Write acceptance test criteria from product and operational perspectives, ensuring implementation by engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Advocate and embody modern engineering practices such as ATDD, driving continuous improvement.
• Enable automated testing in the dev team by setting up test environments, creating tooling, and improving libraries.
• Mentor and support team members in ATDD practices through pairing and knowledge-sharing.
• Champion AI-assisted testing approaches, from AI-generated test cases to intelligent test selection.

Requirements

• Experience leading adoption of QA practices across engineering teams.
• Ability to work hands-on with engineers, demonstrating quality techniques in real delivery contexts.
• Experience collaborating with Product Owners and Engineers to build acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Strong background in evaluating and implementing automation tools and frameworks.
• Deep understanding and experience of various types of tests required for an always-available, customer-facing trading platform.
• Strong hands-on experience of ATDD and/or BDD methodologies.
• Strong English-language communication skills.
• Must be available for hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) in Kraków, Poland.

• Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools.
• Experience coaching or mentoring engineers in quality practices (formal or informal).
• A keen interest in ongoing business and technical learning, especially regarding IG's trading business.
