Salary: $109,000 - $159,000 CAD

What you will do

• Leverage experimentation and advanced data analytics to derive insights.
• Dissect complex data and translate it into actionable strategies to help optimize credit underwriting.
• Determine and optimize purchasing power, ensuring they are set optimally to balance risk and growth, driving healthy user engagement.
• Play a pivotal role in underwriting cost saving, managing risk and improving the profitability.
• Support the launch of new products by designing and implementing credit strategies.
• Partner with Machine Learning and Engineering teams on building effective credit risk capabilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience as a data analyst/data scientist (consumer credit risk management strongly preferred but not required).
• Curious and passionate to learn new things and think outside the box.
• Extensive experience with SQL and Python, or other scripting languages.
• Ability to collaborate and influence across different teams in the organization.
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A passion for finding insights in data and driving changes based on those insights.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge with Machine Learning is a plus.
