TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Designing and developing the GPIPayment Processing Gateway and other server-side products with an accent on modern Object Oriented Languages and integrating capabilities to payment partner’s systems. Focus on building robust server-side products, utilizing transport and wire protocols, and ensuring technical accuracy and timely deliverables.

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom. Must be eligible to work in the UK on a full-time and permanent basis.

What you will do

Design and develop the GPIPayment Processing Gateway and other server-side products.
Develop primarily in modern Object Oriented Languages, including C#, Java, and database/web technologies.
Utilize various transport and wire protocols to integrate capabilities to payment partner’s systems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure technically accurate and timely deliverables.
Identify critical activities and tasks, contribute beyond assigned tasks, and adjust priorities when appropriate.
Assist with software deployment activities to production data centers and project management.

Requirements

BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field, or commercial experience in C#, Java, or other OO programming languages.
Experience in server product development.
Experience with Design Patterns, Refactoring, and OO Design.
Understanding of database design and development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK on a full-time and permanent basis.

Nice to have

Experience in a senior role on software development teams.
Experience in web client programming skills, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS/GCP.
