Location: Must live in Montreal and already be eligible to work in Canada. It is not possible to provide work visa or relocation assistance for this position.

What you will do

• Create realistic 3D models, textures, and shading for assets, ensuring balance between technical requirements and quality standards.
• Work closely with the team and CG Supervisors to plan and create assets.
• Ensure the execution of the desired look and feel for assets.
• Ensure assets are delivered on time and optimized for performance.
• Troubleshoot asset-related issues during render phases.
• Support junior artists and provide guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of working experience in modeling, texturing, and shading.
• Knowledge in Maya, ZBrush, Substance, Mari, and Arnold.
• Fluency in English is required for production purposes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a desire to deliver consistently high quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong artistic sensibility and creative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work within a strong team environment and willingness to share knowledge.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Houdini and Solaris.
• Knowledge of creature/character asset creation.
• Experience in the creation of layouts and modular assets for large-scale environments.
