What you will do

• Grow and inspire the Product and Engineering organization, providing technical guidance for complex initiatives.
• Conceive plans and conduct research in relevant problem areas or new technology.
• Gather requirements and pave the way for consensus on architectural decisions across multiple departments.
• Lead smaller teams of senior engineers to deliver high-impact initiatives aligned with company strategy.
• Analyze potential business opportunities for their benefits and risks.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured architectural diagrams and technical documents.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in successful delivery of initiatives in customer-focused back-end software engineering in Java.
• Ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams and navigate technical ambiguity.
• Experience in large-scale development of customer-facing interfaces using Design System.
• Proficiency with technologies such as Java/JDK, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Design System, Pipeline tooling, message-oriented middleware, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Highly collaborative and focused on building relationships across all departments.
• Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
